car club

The club is the oldest club in the Western Cape. The club has been established in 1991 as an off road club and in 1997 changed to electric on road club. It was
resurfaced and the members could enjoy their on road electric cars.

 

The reason behind the electric cars, was the fact that we are situated in a semi residential area.

The club has grown from lot from meagre beginnings and was the 2 nd largest club in South Africa around 2001/2. We are currently the largest paid members
and sport various classes to compete in. We were also the brainchild for the Open Stock Class in the country.

The club were resurfaced in 2004 and partially in 2022.

 

We host various events, including Nationals. We also will concentrate on fun events, like night racing as we have the light facilities to accommodate the racers.

It is a friendly family orientated facility and we also have braai facilities, toilets for ladies and gents as well.

 

The pit areas are built for drivers to work on their
cars. We welcome the public to come pay us a visit and entrance are free.
